Abstract

The results of the pathomorphological study of veins wall of 168 patients with varicose veins of the lower extremities are presented in this article. In this cohort 148 patients were performed radiofrequency ablation of veins, 20 - endoveous laser coagulation. It has been demonstrated better treatment using radiofrequency ablation. The positive effect of radiofrequency ablation was achieved through a more gentle effect on the wall of the vein and on the surrounding tissue.
