Sexual properties of structural and functional changes in the heart in patients with uncomplicated essential hypertension and inheritance of polymorphic genes peroxisome proliferator-activating receptor-gamma

Abstract

The research work studied the sexual features of structural and functional state in patients with uncomplicated essential hypertension (EH) in carriers of different genotypes peroxisome proliferator-activating receptor (PPAR- γ). It was found that among the women and men living in the Vinnitsa region, carrier Ala have association with the presence of uncomplicated EH. There were no sex differences in the carriers of different genotypes of PPAR- γ, as well as control subjects groupies, and in patients with EH men and women. Men with EH process of left ventricular (LV) remodeling are more expressed than in women, and have association with carriers of allele Ala.
