Abstract

In the experiment, 51 rats Wistar line were studied the impact of vitamin D3 for prevention of disturbances in bone and cartilage tissue that arise under the influence of taking short-term courses of prednisolone for 30 days. Studies have shown that vitamin D3 in patients who were receiving prednisolone resulted in an increase in bone mass. Unlike changes in bone and cartilage tissue when was administered in animals treated with prednisolone and vitamin D3 revealed moderate degenerative and necrotic manifestations of change that showed a significant decrease negative effects of prednisolone on the structural and functional organization of articular and epiphyseal cartilages.
