Abstract

The study of surgical anatomy of vegetative nodes of the head is an integral part of the study of the nerve sources of the head and their spread to certain areas. Vegetative parasympathetic nodules of the head, which are located along the course of branches of the trigeminal nerve, are generally considered as complex peripheral nerve centers associated with the central nervous system. In clinical conditions inflammation of vegetative nodes of the head, which are called ganglionitis. Variants of topography of vegetative knots of the head to a large extent depend on the features of the links with other vegetative nodes of the head. This is due to the fact that autonomic ganglia, nerves and plexus are located on a large area and functionally interconnected with the upper cervical sympathetic knot. In people of elderly age and aged people, diseases of the trigeminal nerve and vegetative nodes of the head are very common. But the provision of essential assistance cannot be effective without a detailed examination of their interdependence.
