VL - 23 IS - 2 SE - ANTROPOLOGICAL STUDIES DO - UR - https://morphology-journal.com/index.php/journal/article/view/63 SP - 269-273 AB - The study is based on the morphological research of the parts of bone protuberance at the femoral head-neck junction at cam-deformity and/or of the marginal acetabulum osteophytes at pincer-impingement obtained during hip arthroscopy in patients with I–II stages of coxarthrosis and femoroacetabular impingement. Morphological studies show that chronic trauma as a result of femoroacetabular impingement causes an inflammatory periosteum proliferation at the femoral head-neck junction among the vast majority of patients, accompanied by the bone mass increase and results in changes identical to the morphological manifestations of osteoarthritis.
