Abstract

The article provides an overview of data on complications in the application of methotrexate for the treatment of rheumatic diseases. It has been shown that treatment with methotrexate is rarely accompanied by serious complications, but their occurrence requires the preparation and conduct of a number of urgent measures. Prevention of complications when using methotrexate in rheumatology remains an open question.
