Abstract

The condition of hard tissues in one-month rats affected by modeled juvenile rheumatoid arthritis induced by Freund's adjuvant has been studied. It has been established that adjuvant arthritis is accompanied by 100 % extension, high intensity and depth of teeth affection by the carious process that proves negative influence of the chronic autoimmune inflammation on the condition of hard tooth tissues. The received results of the anticariogenic effect of the developed complex of preventive remedies and activities combined with the general therapy of a somatic disease on the model of adjuvant arthritis prove high efficacy of the proposed method and advisability of its practical application.
